The path isn't a straight line; it's a spiral. You continually come back to things you thought you understood and see deeper truths.
The spiral's representation of growth and evolution resonates within us, symbolizing the journey of life and the universe's cyclical nature. There is a clear and definitive difference between the way our ancestors saw their world and the way we see it today. We have attained a new level of knowledge through our exploration of the world and beyond. I am of the belief that within our lore there are factual truths that were not fully understood by our Ancestors but as we explore the universe, they become revealed to us.
Knowledge is power! However, it is ever evolving as new discoveries are made. Don't become stagnant in your beliefs. Never sit in the place where you feel you have read all the books, absorbed all the facts, and have nothing more to add. Deepen your knowledge by building relationships with your Ancestors and the Æsir. Be open to hear and observe what they have to show you. Grow and become more aware continually.
Remember. Our culture and heritage cannot be sold. Do we know what riches we own that are a part of us? As future ancestors, is our life reflective of what we want future generations to know us for and emulate? Courage, Truth, Honour, Fidelity, Hospitality, Discipline, Industriousness, Self-reliance, and Perseverance. Strive for living a life that not only honours your Ancestors but imparts wisdom to your descendants. Keep moving forward with right action for future generations.
