On the Third Day of Jól

Today we celebrate Courage! Courage is a foundational virtue, it takes Courage to enact all other virtues. Courage is only courageous when there is the risk of consequence. Doing the right thing when it is popular is great but not courageous. Courage is something all aspire to; courage is the defining trait of heroes. To all who stand courageously for our Folk, for the Æsir, and for the Asatru Folk Assembly, we thank you and we celebrate you! May we all look for ways, both large and small, to be courageous in 2026.
