VASEN In Grass Valley, California:
Some of you will remember the concert we hosted a few years ago for the
Swedish group, Vasen. They have arrived back in the area and will be
playing Saturday night, March 6th, at the Grass Valley's Center for the
Arts. Audiences love their energetic renditions of Swedish Folk
music, with the nickelharpa and other traditional instruments.

LASHER KEEN in Sacramento, California:
Local heathen band, Lasher Keen, will be playing on Friday, March 12th
at Luigi's Fun Garden on 20th & J Streets, Sacramento, 8 PM with a $6
cover charge. "A fun, haunted evening of strange folk and eerie rock
and metal." Steve and Sheila McNallen will be there, offering them a
horn of mead as they begin their performance. Their newest songs are
woven with Norse mythology & runes -- powerful stuff. (They will also
be playing a concert at the AFA's Midsummer in the Sierras, just before
the Odin blot on June 26th. ) We hope that some of you will join us
and encourage these young, talented artists on March 12 at Luigi's. By
the way, bring cash, as Luigi's apparently doesn't take credit cards.
